From Sew & Bloom:

Our Artist Spotlight series is dedicated to introducing the Sew & Bloom community to kindred-spirit, floral-loving creatives we all should know about! Join us to meet Lauren Clark, life-long paper lover and local artist behind the completely magical (& gorgeous) botanical publication Found & Flowered. Lauren will share her inspirations and lead us in a paper craft workshop drawn fresh from the pages of the autumn edition.

Fee: $60, includes copy of the latest edition and subscriber-exclusive paper craft

Found and Flowered junk journal workshop

In person workshops

Hands-on, creative time with like-minded paper lovers! Classes provide a relaxed, approachable experience in paper arts. All skill levels welcome!

Class sizes are usually fairly small, between 8-12 people. We start with a short group introduction, an overview of the project, and then dive in and start playing with materials! At the end, I love making time for everyone to share their projects. I find it’s a heartwarming and inspiring way to end the evening that often leads to discovering common threads in creating and also new techniques!

Interested in seeing a workshop in a particular town or venue? Suggestions for new locations are always welcome!

Private events

Let me come to you! This started with a bachelorette party, where the organizer reached out asking if I could do a themed one-stitch, junk journal event. She gave me ideas like florals, ocean vibes, girlfriends, and a fun inside joke - goats! Customized materials are chosen to match the specific requests, making each event unique and personal.

Once the guests complete their individual journals, they can be bound together into one larger keepsake journal—a special gift for the bride or guest of honor. This type of event is perfect for birthdays, bachelorette parties, or any gathering looking for a fun and creative experience.
